After four years at our current location in downtown St. Petersburg, we are super excited to join our friends like Vitale Studio, Blue Lucy, Star Booty, State Theater, Daddy Kool Records, T2theS, All Sewn Up and more on the 600 Block of Central Ave!

To commemorate the move, we’re having a one-night only exhibit, entitled, “Splinters and Papercuts” on Saturday, July 24th – showcasing new wood and paper engravings, jewelry, skateboards, t-shirts and prints by Pale Horse at the new studio location – 611 Central Avenue.

For this exhibit, we’re combining tattoo-style imagery, mythical and religious iconography, and satirical themes, with laser engraving techniques to create custom wood art pieces. We’ll also be launching new skateboard decks, prints, 2 new t-shirts  and the Pale Horse wooden jewelry line!

Digital Arts: Cover & Death Goddess Tutorial

In this month’s issue of Digital Arts, I had the opportunity to create an Adobe Illustrator tutorial showing readers how I created my illustration of “Yamī” – goddess of death. This tutorial shows how the piece was created, from start to finish and has some great tips for using .Ai’s new “Blob” brush and “Live Paint” tools. DA liked the image so much that they used it for the mag cover! Click here to follow the tutorial, order your copy online or pick  up a copy at your local bookstore.
