Got some nice press this month from a couple killer design mags from the UK. DigitalArts asked me create a tutorial on illustrating tattoo-inspired vector artwork, as well as provide the final image for the cover of their D&AD Special 2009 issue. Go pick one up to get all the tips and score some exclusive freebies from theGoldenBlack.com on the disk. Also received some love from ComputerArts issue 163 in the Output Design Showcase. Got to talk about Back in Black 2 a bit, give some shoutouts to Hydro74, Munk One, ISO50, Brian Morris and share the spread with 123Klan and Julie West. Did you get that issue in the mail or did u get it in the store? Ive been trying to find it with no luck. I know that if they mail it to you it arrives a month earlier than it does on the news stands. so is this going to arrive next month at barnes and noble, borders ect…? I just want to make sure I havent missed it!

I picked up the CA at Barnes & Nobel and got the DA in the mail. Should still be out now in the US.
