The powerful, elephant-headed deity known as Ganesha, is revered as the remover of obstacles and blocked energy. He is also the guardian of arts and sciences and the deva of intellect, wisdom and travel. Ganesha’s presence is invoked when beginning any new endeavor or task. When worshipped, Ganesha is believed to grant success, prosperity and protection against adversity.
